The Web site was created to "offer support, comfort and an increased level of acceptance toward those with disabilities." Individuals who are disabled, as well as their caregivers, family and Church leaders, will find the Web site useful to learn more about specific disabilities and the challenges involved.
The page dedicated specifically to autism highlights the three main difficulties associated with the condition, ways to help, teaching tips, resources and other helpful Web sites.
Autism isn't the only disability that is addressed on the Web site. Resources are available for people with hearing loss, blindness, speech disorders, learning disabilities and more.
