    Photos, Video and Other Resources From First Session of General Conference Available on Newsroom.lds.org

    News media and bloggers can find high-resolution, downloadable photos from the first session of the Church's 179th Semiannual General Conference on a newsroom.lds.org photo page. A photo of each speaker is available, as are photos of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the congregation in the Conference Center. This page will be updated following each general session of the conference.

    Additionally, we've posted a news release this morning covering the announcement of five new temples by President Thomas S. Monson. That release includes links to background information on temples and videos explaining why temples are built.
