Members of the Young Women general presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are featured in the latest episode of the Latter-day Saint Women podcast.
In the nearly 40-minute podcast titled “Hearing the Voice of the Lord,” the leaders discuss recent changes to the Young Women program, including the recently revised theme. Sister Bonnie H. Cordon, Young Women general president, and her counselors, Michelle Craig and Becky Craven, also provide insight into how personal revelation helped guide the recent changes.
“The Lord [gives us revelation] in a very normal and natural way, and we can have confidence in our life to realize the Lord is speaking to us,” said Sister Cordon.
“All of us, at times in our lives, are completely overwhelmed by our life circumstance or by what we’re asked to do, but just know that as we’re consistent in doing the small and simple things and as we’re trying to seek revelation and going through that work and that process, as we rely on Jesus Christ and His Grace that we will be made equal to those things that we’re being asked to do,” said Sister Craig.
Sister Craven added, “We talk about this being a new theme, but the reality is that it is an extension of what we have been doing in the past, because we believe in living prophets, we believe that Jesus Christ is at the head of this Church, we believe that this is a living Church and that revelation reigns.”
Two dozen episodes of the Latter-day Saint Women podcast are now available on the Church's website, the Latter-day Saint Channel app, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Play.
