General conferences of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which take place every April and October, are events with significant personal meaning for Latter-day Saints.
In an effort to capture a glimpse of how Latter-day Saints experience general conferences, the Church’s Media Services Department encourages Church members to submit videos of their October 2011 conference experience by 1 November 2011.
After the deadline, the Media Services Department will use the submissions to create a short film titled “Come, Listen to a Prophet’s Voice.”
For more information, visit create.lds.org/come-listen for directions on filming and submitting videos.
Conference coverage, including photos, will be published throughout the weekend on newsroom.lds.org. Additional information will also be posted here on the Newsroom Blog. Journalists, bloggers and others can get this material by going to those sites or following them on the Newsroom Facebook page or Twitter account (@LDSNewsroom) or by subscribing by e-mail.
