United Kingdom: The British Pageant Concludes on a Positive Note
Three members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints were in the audience for the final performance of the British Pageant.
Elders Russell M. Nelson, M. Russell Ballard and Jeffrey R. Holland watched as hundreds of actors, choir and stage crew told the inspiring story of how the Mormon Church began in the British Isles.

Brazil: Church Sponsors Neonatal Resuscitation Training
Humanitarian Services of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints partnered with the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics earlier this month to instruct health professionals in neonatal resuscitation techniques.
The course was taught to about 330 health professionals, including pediatricians, nurses and midwives in various cities of the two states of Maceio and Aracaju, on the eastern coast of Brazil.

Venezuela: Low-Income Women Receive Pre-natal Assistance
A “Super Baby Shower” was hosted recently by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for low-income women expecting babies in several Venezuela towns.
The Church’s Relief Society organization provided music, games, awards, refreshments and gifts for the women in the comfortable atmosphere of the local meetinghouse.

Russia: Mormon Helping Hands Make a Difference in Russia
A Russian photo essay depicts the efforts of many Latter-day Saints cleaning around a school and nearby Lake Kiowa in Lobnya in the Moscow region. The effort was sponsored by the Church’s Mormon Helping Hands.

Bolivia: Church Opens New Facility for Religious Education
A newly constructed building for religious education for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has opened in Bolivia. The facility, which is called an institute of religion, is located in La Paz and will accommodate more than 500 young people between the ages of 18 and 30.
The Church places a high priority on reading and studying the holy scriptures to understand the gospel of Jesus Christ and how to apply the Savior’s teachings to serve others.
