Elder Vaiangina Sikahema was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 3, 2021, at age 58. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a member of the Tenth Quorum of the Seventy in the North America Northeast Area.

Elder Sikahema received a bachelor of arts degree in broadcasting and communications from Brigham Young University in 2002. In 1986 he began his career as a professional American football player. He has played for the Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles. In 1994 he began working as a sports anchor and then worked as a news anchor in 2013 for NBC10 Philadelphia, where he worked until his retirement in 2020.
Elder Sikahema has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission, ward Young Men president, bishop, counselor in a mission presidency and stake president.
Vaiangina Sikahema was born in Nuku’alofa, Tonga, on August 29, 1962. He married Keala Heder in 1984. They are the parents of four children.
