Elder Patricio M. Giuffra

Elder Patricio M. Giuffra was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 3, 2021, at age 58. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a stake young single adult leader. He served as a member of the Ninth Quorum of the Seventy in the South America South Area from 2015 to 2020.

Elder Giuffra received a bachelor of science degree in marketing from Brigham Young University in 1990. In 1994 he received a master of business administration degree, with an emphasis in marketing and operations, from Brigham Young University. He worked as purchasing manager for Woodgrain Millwork from 1994 to 1996. He then worked as sales manager and operations manager for Alvenius Chilena until 1998, at which time he began working as general manager for Carbotech Chile. At the time of his call as a General Authority Seventy, he had been working as general manager for Arcotex SA.

Elder Giuffra has served in a number of Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Chile Osorno Mission, assistant stake executive secretary, stake Young Men president, bishop and stake president.

Patricio Mauricio Giuffra Vargas was born in Valparaíso, Chile, on April 6, 1962. He married Maria Eugenia Gonzalez in 1992. They are the parents of four children.
