Elder Mark D. Eddy

Church Service

Elder Mark D. Eddy was sustained as a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 2, 2022, at age 49. At the time of his call, he had been serving as a member of the Twelfth Quorum of the Seventy in the Utah Area.

Elder Eddy has served in several Church callings, including full-time missionary in the Dominican Republic Santo Domingo East Mission, counselor in a bishopric, ward Young Men president, bishop, high councilor, counselor in a stake presidency, president of the Uruguay Montevideo Mission from 2016 to 2019 and Area Seventy.

Professional Life

Elder Eddy received a Bachelor of Arts in communications in 1996 from Brigham Young University. In 2001 he received a Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University. He has since worked as an attorney and as a business executive.

Personal Life

Mark David Eddy was born in Long Beach, California, on March 30, 1973. He married Annette Allen in 1994. They are the parents of six children.
